PART I – INTERNATIONAL IMAGING COMPETITION

CATEGORY AND CLASS AWARDS

The International Imaging Competition (IIC) is one of todays most prestigious international competitions to enter. The IIC is hosted by the Master Photographers International Organizations. To become a member and participate into the annual awards, you will need to register as a member.

The IIC Annual Awards, only opens Call for Entries once annually.

The IIC is not only rewarding for many who enter, it includes a ® Registered Photographic Program for photographers interested in earning more. When entering the IIC, you automatically become a member of the Master Photographers International Organization. There are no annual fees.

The focus of the IIC is not only to reward TOP TALENT within the photographic industry, but to also help educate and inspire novice and growing photographers in the art of photography.

Master Photographers International (MPI) was founded in 2013 and launched the first IIC Annual Awards in 2015. Now in its 10th year, MPI is hosting the 9th Annual Awards.

OVERVIEW ON HOW THE IIC WORKS.

Part I of the IIC Annual Awards consists of the Category and Class Awards and the Mentorship Awards.  The IIC works with 6 CATEGORIES and 70 CLASSES. Top 6 Photographers are announced, one in each of the 6 Categories. The POY winning in a Category is selected by the entrant highest 4 scoring images in that category. To be eligible, entrants must enter 4 or more images in at lease one category into the competition.  Entrants are allowed to enter as many categories as they would like.

The highest scoring of the 6 Category Photographers of the Year, win’s the overall title and is awarded the MPI IIC International Photographer of the Year.  All winners are based on their scores and another reason why judging is conducted privately and independently by each judge.

MENTORSHIP AWARDS

To be eligible for the Mentorship Awards, the entrant must be an educator or have conducted workshops or presentation. Please read the rules. To be eligible for the Mentorship Awards, 4 or more images need to be entered.

PART II – INTERNATIONAL IMAGING CUP

The International Imaging Cup was restructured in 2022 to include the TOP three counties. With members in over 148 Counties, we felt the restructure of the IIC Cup would give MPI Members more to achieve. The IIC Cup now names the 3 TOP Winning Countries earning GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE.  The first-place photographers in each of the three countries take the cups home for their countries. Earning the cup for your country, is something every photographer should be extremely proud of.

PART III – TOP 100 IMAGES

Once all the announcements for the International Imaging Competition and International Imaging Cup have been announced. MPI then announces the TOP scoring 100 images. Earning a TOP 100 is another milestone to be proud of. This is certainly not an easy accomplishment.

JUDGING

Judging with the IIC is conducted by each judge in private. We believe that private judging facilitates the best feedback with each image receiving a non bias review from 5 judges and educators.

SEALED IMAGES

Sealed image are images that have a earned a Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Seal.

THE INTERNATIONAL IMAGING COMPETITION

IS HOSTED BY THE
MASTER PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL
ORGANIZATION.
