THE MPI INTENTIONAL IMAGE CHALLENGE 6 POY CATEGORIES 

What you need to know about the 6 IIC Categories when enter the International Image Challenge and working towards a tittle. 


COMMERCIAL CATEGORY

Images in Commercial Category are images that would be used by clients, newspapers, magazines, food and product, travel, advertising promotions, for website use and for business reports.  

DIGITAL ART

Digital Art images can be composites or images digitally created from scratch. Main subject must have been captured or created by the entrant. 

FINE ART
Fine Art Category are images that can easily be displayed in a gallery or on a wall. 

NATURE

Nature Category Images must be more natural. No painterly or textures allowed. No Black and White. Wildlife can be processed to remove branches and other objects that may be distracting

PORTRAIT

Portrait images are images created for retail clients for personal and family use or for modeling portfolios.  

WEDDING

Wedding images should be created from actual weddings. Wedding creative images are eligible for the Class Awards

The highest scoring image in show is the second most difficult awards to obtain in the MPI International Image Challenge and a true honor to the photographer / artist who was successful in obtaining this award.

CLASS AWARDS
Highest scoring image in that class

It is exciting when you hear that you have earned a Class Award. Why? This means that your image was the First Place image of that class. Many MPI Members submit in various classes not only to be eligible for the Category POY but also many work towards a number of Photographic Degrees simultaneously. In 2018 The MPI IIC distributed 55 Class Awards  and in 2019 61 Class Awards were distributed internationally.

Eligible images for Top Scoring Image in a Class (Class Award) in a class must score a 82 and higher.
