 CHANGES JANUARY 1, 2022

Effective January 01, 2022, the MPI International Photographic Degree Program cancelled the Craftsman Degree.  Going forward, the MPI program’s focus will be on Master and Grand Master levels. This change will reflect the MPI Organizations mission. The change to the program now coincides with the MPI name and the International Photographic Degree Program.
Members previously earning a Craftsman Degree will not loose this title. MPI has awarded them special seals due the change in the program as they continue from Craftsman Level to Master.

With this change, you will notice the required points for a master’s degree have been adjusted. Prior to January 01, 2022, to earn a master’s degree, a member required to have 8 bronze awards or higher, and 8 silver awards or higher. This has now changed to 10 Silver of higher.

Points are earned during the annual International Image Challenge by earning sealed images. A master’s degree also requires one accreditation in the master category working towards.
